Nestle India-#EducateTheGirlChild - School Chali Main
In 2006, The Government of India launched a song to advocate education – ‘School Chalein Hum’. However, 10 years later, literacy data showed that the initiative had mostly benefitted boys, with 20 million girls dropping out of school every year. Therefore, Nestle partnered with the original creators of the song to refocus it on educating girls. We changed its lyrics from “School Chalein Hum” to “School Chali Main” and edited its footage to retain just the parts that had girls in them.
